Search for today's date

I was curious if there was a way to search for today's date in the various daily devotionals that are in Accordance 11?  I currently read Streams in the Desert and sometimes miss a day or more so it'd be nice ito be able to jump to today rather than scroll.  Since we can search for a particular date it seems like "today" should be an option.  Thanks.

Try Windows menu -> Daily Reading -> _________

Thanks, but that's not what I want.  For example, when I open Accordance daily reading on iPhone it will start at today's date with no user intervention.  On Windows and on Mac, it opens a daily devotional to wherever I left off and I have to search for today.  It'd be nice it there was an option to have Accordance open a daily devotional to the current day (option could be placed in "set tool display").

What version of Accordance are you using? In the current release (11.2.4) it should always open to the current date.

Craig, if you open a devotional from the Library, it will open from where you left off.  If you open it as I described, from the Window menu, it will open to today's date.  Why is it not what you want?

If I open my workspace which contains Streams in the Desert along with two bibles synced to it, it opens to where I left off no matter what I do.  I am using Accordance 11.2.4 in Windows 10.

That is correct, you are opening a saved workspace.  The analog to opening a Devotional on iOS is the Window -> Daily Devotional as I mentioned.  Right now, we do not support custom daily reading workspaces.
