Kathryn
Accordance works fine on my MAC. It used to work on my iPhone, but now I just get the spinning wheel when I try to open. I just got an iPad, and the same thing happens on my iPad. I have the latest software updates on all three devices. I have Accordance 9.6.8 Please help. Thanks. :-) Edited October 4, 2016 by Kathryn
Fabian
Hello Kathryn Best you close Accordance on iOS, then go to the Settings/Prefs of the iOS. Scroll down till you see Accordance (its on the first level in Settings) where all the Apps are Listed. Click on Accordance and activate "Revome Saved Session" "Clear Download Cache" "Reset User Content" and "Reset Interlinear Settings". Then start Accordance. This is first to do always by problems in Accordance for iOS. Add: After closing Accordance, swipe it away in the .... Sorry I don't know how its called, but I'm sure you know what I mean. If Accordance is running check also for content updates, maybe there are older contents which makes problems. Fabian
If you go to the Library in Accordance, left is the button with the arrow down. Click this and then fast on the right button which comes on the next window. There you can search for content Updates. Are you sure that after you closed Accordane you have swiped it away from the recent used Apps, when you double click on the Home button. Then remove the saved session etc. Greetings Fabian
Kathryn
Fabian, I can't get to the Library in Accordance on my iPhone because I can't get Accordance to open. Yes, I did make sure to swipe it away from the recent used Apps, after I double-clicked on the Home button.
Fabian
If you use iCloud or Dropbox then also remove the "Remember my Place" and "Sync Bookmark" to start Accordance new. Greetings Fabian
Kathryn
OK, I just removed the "Remember my Place" and "Sync Bookmark", and I am still getting the spinning wheel when I open.
Fabian
Mmmh this helped me every time. Sorry then you need better assistance. (Or/Before) you delete the App and install all again. My iPhone is to old that "Spotlight indexes" works, but I know if you had delete them to it needs some time to index again, which probably answer with the spinning wheel, but thats only a wild guess. Kathryn
So do I delete the Accordance App from my iPhone, by just touching and holding down on the icon and then pressing the "x" to delete it? Then do I just go to Apps, search for it, and download it again? Sorry, I am not very technical.

Kathryn
Thanks! OK, I did that and it did open! :-) However, it is not showing everything that I have purchased for my Accordance on my MAC. Is there something I have to do to make that happen? Thanks again.
Fabian
Yes, first you have to sign in with your account name and PW. Not from the Forums, from the Accordance shop. Then go to library and left to the button with the arrow down. (which means download). There you have two choices, to download only some by check what you want, or all with the button on the top right. If you have a lot of stuff then its better to download in parts, all at once is a little bit buggy then. So check all what you want and with the left button above you run the download. Kathryn
Thanks so much. That worked on my iPhone. Now I will have to try it on my iPad. One more question: I don't see my User Notes that I have taken on my MAC in my iPhone Accordance. Do those not sync? (I am wondering that because it says "Mobile User Notes" on the iPhone).
Fabian
For this you have to activate in the Prefs/settings of Accordance the dropbox account. If you have, if not, you can it Sync with the Mac. On Accordance on iOS there are the two arrows (second from left, in the library) and then you have to activate in Accordance on the Mac under the menu Accordance, synch with ..., This works as Wifi or by wire. http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/OSX11/Default.htm#topics/10_ref/prefs/syncing.htm#kanchor856 Greetings Fabian
