Young's Literal Translation Abbreviation to YLT

This is minor, but the official abbreviation for Young's Literal Translation is YLT. When copying as citation in Accordance it uses YNG. I have to manually change it to YLT in every citation. It would be cool if Accordance could use YLT by default.

Thanks

There is no easy solution. If we change the name of the module, prior users would have 2 copies in their Library. We could program to allow a hard-coded different abbreviation, or to allow users to change the abbreviation. Is this really needed? I don't think many users cite Young.

You do have the option in Preferences: Citation to use the full name of the text, with a result like this:

In the beginning of God’s preparing the heavens and the earth —  Genesis 1:1 Young’s Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

It's just an annoyance. I work with a wide variety of Bible translation often so I cite a lot. It would be nice if it used the standard abbreviation for SBL or the Christin Writer's Manual of Style. Then if someone sees it out of context and looks up the abbreviation, they will know definitely which it is. Same with GNB/TEV/GNT. According to ABS, the 1992 text included with Accordance is officially named the Good News Translation (GNT). I have to change that one every time as well.

Like I said, it's just an annoyance. When I have citing dozens of verses from those translations, I have to make the same change dozens of times.

Thanks

Is it possible in your work to change it like search and replace at the end?

Maybe a script or makro would do this.

Greetings

If you are pasting into an ms application, you can Add it to auto correct database which may also help.

Thank you, but, fortunately, I've been using computers since 1984 and I've never used a Microsoft application. :-)
