Ploni
I did a search for all verbs with pronominal suffixes in Genesis and then looked up parsing for the search hits. The parsing display gives all the information I require but puts the verbs and their suffixes on different lines. I tried to adjust the display so that they could appear together as they do in the text but they still appear separately. The very reason I want them to appear as they do in the text, i.e. together as one word is that I can practice parsing the verb forms myself. Any ideas? Joe Weaks
Instead of using the Parsing window, if you use a Details/Analysis window and set the Text Display to display: [inflected] [Tag] Would that give you what you're looking for? (Haven't looked myself)
Ploni
Thanks for the tip but it appears that the verb and suffix are still separated.
Helen Brown
There is no way to do this, and no-one has requested it before. How can one combine the suffix with the word and display both tags.
Ploni
For research purposes there is no need for verb and suffix to be joined. On this point we would agree. However, Accordance is also a pedagogical tool. In terms of this secondary use, what I have requested makes sense.
hjkeener
How can I search for a pronominal suffix on a specific verb? Thanks!
