Hi there im using accordance 10 and getting really frustrated at how it seems to do stuff.  Firslty when I had ios clicking a word and getting to languages is easy but on 10 i cant fathom how I do it.

What im trying is i triple clicking a word in the bible text, great, it opens strongs (not the top dictionary that should open but thats a different issue....) so this isnt what I want, I want my nidntte dictionary, this is where the problem lies I see no discernable way to get from my triple clicked bible word to the nidntte.  I try copy and paste, greek, English, content even gloss, all I get is a beep and nothing, this happens with all my greek language resorces.

Can anyone help me? im stumped and really frustrated by this as it seems so unintuative.

Can anyone please tell me how I do this? I would imagine its simple and im missing something.?

Quite shocked this has not been answered by support as previously Accordance used to be very good at supporting its users.

Edit - Sussed it myself by using the amplify option.

Hello Willam

First I have talked in this Forum a few times how to go as best through the Hits and the Tools with cmd and/or ctrl and arrows.

Second I don't remember exact the shortcuts, because in 11.2ff it's different. And I don't used so old Software for daily use. So you have to try a little bit self, but the direction I lead you is correct.

Have you tried to push shift by triple click?

Or on 10 and the Strong's are open:

Use ctrl+cmd+arrow left and right (or up/down) so you can go quickly trough the library. So you cycle through the tools.

To explain: In English Bibles with Strong's triple click go to the Strangs or Mounce etc. With shift+triple click you go to the other tools, where you go in Bibles without Strong's.

Then you have to go with ctrl+cmd+arrow through the Hits. Lift your finger on ctrl or cmd (really I don't remember exact) and use one time the press again the arrow. So you go to the next Tool. Then press the shortcut before again and you go through the Hits of the next Tool. So you can by using the shortcuts in 15 second go through all related Hits in your Tools.

In older post from me I have explained this few times, you can search for ctrl+cmd a little bit here and here. For the exact shortcuts you have to go to the Helpfiles of the 10.

See the Sneak Peek #2 of Accordance 12 Here it changes again, If you buy Accordance starter 11 now you get 12 for free.

Greetings

Fabian

Go to "Amplify" in your Accordance Preferences. Make sure "Override Key Number Dictionaries" is checked. And set your default lexicons and dictionaries there as well.
