Anthony Sepulveda
Hello, I'm still not using the Hebrew Construct palette frequently, but there's this search that I wanted to do, and I couldn't get it right: What should I do to search for the different Direct Objects of the verb עבד? And then a more specific one from there: Which verses contain יהוה (or even the preposition את with the pronominal suffix ו that refers to יהוה) as the Direct Object of עבד (even including the possible הו- suffix directly attached to the verb)? This is to get forms like עבד אתו or עבדהו, etc., referring to יהוה. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Λύχνις Δαν
If you have the Hebrew syntax I would do something like this as a start : You might want to add search both ways. It slightly increased the hit count - 30 I think. Without syntax then it's a bit trickier though I note even a simple עבד ’הוה search finds fairly similar results. With more diverse objects and trying to handle the non-את cases properly that would take some weeding. Thx D
Anthony Sepulveda
Thanks Daniel. I think I can already extract some interesting information from this. Cheers.
