Since upgrading to Acc 12 citation doesnt work. The shortcut keys don't do anything, using the right click menu will have citation as an option but clicking it does nothing, and the edit menu doesnt have it as an option.

Seems to work for me (see below). This was accomplished by highlighting the text, right clicking and selecting Copy As --> Citation

A one-volume commentary on the whole Bible has to be a major exercise in compression, with rigorous discipline governing what is included and what omitted. We have chosen to concentrate on the ‘flow’ of books and passages, and in this way to make a fundamental contribution to understanding the Bible. Too often the Bible reader (and not only in the early years of Bible reading) is baffled for want of help to see the wood from the trees. We believe that when our Commentary is used with this end in mind it will bring its greatest benefits to the user. Nevertheless, as far as space allowed, we have tried not to overlook difficulties of detail. In any case, throughout, we have supplied lists of books for further reading and study. As a general rule the lists reflect an ascending scale in the demand they place on the reader. The books at the top of each list are designed to meet the initial needs of those who want to move forward from what the Commentary provides into a detailed acquaintance with Holy Scripture. This, indeed, constitutes our main motivation and conviction: the individual Christian and the whole professing church today has no deeper need than to know, love and submit to the Bible as the Word of God. It is this cause we long to serve and it is to this end that, with prayer, we send our Commentary on its way.

This is the second major revision of the New Bible Commentary, which was first published in 1953. As editors we have the privilege of standing in a very honoured tradition. We salute and revere the memories of Francis Davidson, Ernest Kevan, Alan Stibbs and Donald Guthrie, veritable masters of the Word of God who are now part of our treasure in heaven. We also recall with gratitude Donald Wiseman’s consultative and contributory role in 1970 when the New Bible Commentary Revised made its appearance. Our affectionate respect for these men and their God-given gifts is shared, worldwide, by millions of grateful readers. In this further edition of the New Bible Commentary nothing remains from 1953 and little from 1970. We have moved from the Revised Standard Version to the New International Version as our English base, and God has called into being a new international team of writers. Even where an author may remain the same as in 1970, the article has been either rewritten or thoroughly revised.

Sorry Gordon. I tested this is on OSX (original poster asked about this on OSX) . I don't have a Windows 10 machine around at the moment to check for you.

Suggest you log a ticket with tech support. Seems unusual to me.

The problem seems to be when pasting into Accordance NOTES but the citation does appear when pasting into a word processor like WordPad

Tried pasting into a note and Accordance crashed on me when creating a new note.

After a restart I got some weirdness in formatting when I pasted my content in the note (text was displayed as blue text with the whole lot underlined).

Yes, there seems to be a problem with Notes.  It's surprising that the accordance folks are not reacting to this problem since notes is such an important part of the program.

Gordon, I believe we have already found and fixed the problem of copy as citation to notes.  It should be available in the next release.

Copy as Citation does not work for me in Accordance 12. Upgraded to 12.0.1, but the problem persists.

I'm on a Mac, OS 10.12.1
