Nick Gilliam
The hyperlinks for G/K and Strongs numbers do not appear for any entry (as far as I know). Has anyone had this problem and know how to correct it? Mounce Greek Dictionary v3.
Fabian
What do you expect concrete? The Numbers itself are not hyperlinked. Greetings Fabian
Nick Gilliam
In a screencast on the Bill Mounce website the G/K and Strongs numbers are hyperlinked. https://billmounce.com/foundationalgreek/sc-orientation/accordance
Λύχνις Δαν
Yep I see what you mean now. I see the same thing. I few items do appear to be linked, the ones where there are multiple key numbers for a word, like ἅγιος. Thx D
Rick Bennett
In a screencast on the Bill Mounce website the G/K and Strongs numbers are hyperlinked. https://billmounce.com/foundationalgreek/sc-orientation/accordance That screen shot is from an older version of the dictionary. We moved the hyperlinks to below the entry with an abbreviation for each module / text in Accordance.
Λύχνις Δαν
Oh I see now - and the reason why there are some links in the numbers is if there are multiple numbers listed (as in αγιος G39, G40), as the links below the entry only carry the main number. Thx D

Thx D That's an error. There shouldn't be a link on G39.
Λύχνις Δαν
Ah, well it could be handy though and it's not the only example : GK G72 | S G33, G71 ἄγω agō 67xto lead. bring; lead away, drive off, as a booty of cattle; conduct, accompany; lead out, produce; conduct with force, drag, hurry away; guide, incite, entice; convey one’s self, go, go away; pass or spend as time; celebrate → bring; go; lead.☞ MOUNCE | NIV | ESV | HCSB | NRSV | NKJV | KJV I tried to construct a query to find them all but I am not sure how or if it's possible. EDIT: found a couple more : GK G1609 | S G1473, G1691, G1698, G1700, G2248, G2249, G2254, G2257, G3165, G3427, G3450 ἐγώ egō 2,666xI, gen., ἐμοῦ [μου], dat., ἐμοί [μοι], acc., ἐμέ [με] → I.☞ MOUNCE | NIV | ESV | HCSB | NRSV | NKJV | KJV GK G1639 | S G1488, G1498, G1510, G1511, G1526, G2070, G2071, G2252, G2258, G2277, G2468, G5600, G5607 εἰμί eimi 2,462xto be, to exist, Jn. 1:1; 17:5; Mt. 6:30; Lk. 4:25, freq.; ἐστί[ν], it is possible, proper, Heb. 9:5; a simple linking verb (“copula”) to the subject and predicate, and therefore in itself affecting the force of the sentence only by its tense, mood, etc., Jn. 1:1; 15:1, freq.; it also forms a frequent circumlocution with the participles of the present and perfect of other verbs, Mt. 19:22; Mk. 2:6 → be.☞ MOUNCE | NIV | ESV | HCSB | NRSV | NKJV | KJV It looks deliberately done to me. And I think it makes sense. Another alternative would be to have a row of module specific links, one per key number, at the bottom of the entry. I can't remember if it was deliberate or not. The multiple Strong's numbers have to do with how the older Strong's system created individual numbers for commonly used words. In most cases we normalized this in the text tagging to just the lexical form so that the cross-highlighting would work. But we didn't delete them from this dictionary since they were part of that system and could be used in the KJV or other older Strong's resources. We'll take a closer look again. Thanks for the feedback.
