Lost my user notes

Suddenly I get an error message when trying to open my primary user note - "unable to open "main" because it requires a newer version of accordance (I am using 12). The user file "main" is no longer available."

On Mac go to documents, Accordance files, User Notes and double click on they.

Must be on Win the same procedure ...

I have a similar issue...I was teaching using accordance 12, and had a passage that was highlighted. I tried to search for something, and Accordance crashed. Upon relaunch, I received an error that states, I/O error#0 in the file “My Highlights.hlt”

 

I also received another error, but I don't know what it was. I suspect it had to do with my notes file. Currently, the User Notes file in my Documents folder is empty. I tried to restore from a TimeMachine backup from earlier today, but was unable to do so. What do I need to do in order to get my notes back?
