Accordance XII Collections Suggestion

I submitted my upgrade order yesterday (from my Accordance XI “Ultimate" collection to the “Triple Discoverer” collection) as after researching the new collections, I felt this was the best option based on what I had.  But what I’d like to suggest is that you consider adding two additional packages to the “Triple Combos” path - that being “Triple Pro” & “Triple Expert”.   The “All-in-All” as I understand it would be the same as a “Triple Master” package?

I believe that would offer a go-forward upgrade path for those of us migrating from the old collections that would be easier to get our heads around. I think the current collections are great for anyone new to Accordance…but somewhat confusing to those of us coming up from the previous collections structure.  For example, based on what resources I own, I would believe that I’d fall somewhere between a “Triple Pro” & “Triple Expert” collection level.  It would be nice to have a collections solution that supports both old & new users of Accordance that you don't have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out.

In place of that, an online tool would be appreciated that evaluated a current users library & RECOMMENDED an upgrade path.  Kind of a “Based on what you have in your library - here’s the new XII collection most closely aligned with your current resources…"

Thanks for listening! :)

I felt this way too. Or I used to, the last few days.

Until I realised that I felt some pride in having the ultimate collection, I was feeling like I owned it all.

But truth to be told I did not really use all of it.

It felt like a set back to start anew, a feeling of starting over (this is a false feeling because you keep the modules you bought)

In a way I am glad that I wasn't tempted to go for a triple pro option. Because it forced me to look in what I really need, not in the vanity of a full bookshelf. It even gave me some means to order an far out add-on I have been interested in for a long time.

these are my 2 ct's, and I explicitly want to say that I do mean you all are vain :)

now I am waiting for my order to be processed... and what a night, heh?

+1

As a longtime Accordance user with a medium to large library of Accordance modules, I agree that the upgrade path for Accordance XII feels very unclear to me. An obvious online tool to evaluate my current collection and suggest the next natural step would be very helpful. As it is now, I have no idea what to do...and so I've stalled. I always like to keep up with the advances in Accordance software, but this one has me stumped. Looks nice though! Thanks for working hard to continually improve things. I'm grateful for Accordance every single day.

The whole point of the Collections Comparison is that you can do just that, compare what each collection would ADD to your Library. Nothing will be removed. If you own the Ultimate you still own all its contents. The new scheme is designed to help you add in the area of your interest, and to show you that there is much more available than what was in Ultimate. Of course, almost any title can be added alone, no need to buy a Collection if you only need one or two of its titles.
