countach Posted January 5, 2008 Share Posted January 5, 2008 Obviously, not everyone will agree on dates in the timeline, however the dates as they stand seem inconsistent. Paul's conversion is dated at AD 35 in the timeline and Galatians is listed at AD 49. However in Gal 1, Paul recounts his conversion, an interval of 3 years, then in Gal 2 he recounts a further a further interval of 14 years, then an unspecified interval before his dispute with Peter, plus some unspecified interval until he writes Galatians. At a bare minimum, that puts Galatians 17 years after Paul's conversion, which if we pick AD 35, would make it at least AD 52. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I did not review scriptural issues you point out, but the Critical dates do not have this issue.
