Neill
This may be a rudimentary question, but I've been using Excel to compare MT, LXX, DSS, and so on and I've been copying text from Accordance's word charts to Excel. Until recently, the text I've copied has been appearing in Calibri, 12 point font. Now, it defaults to Helvitica. Despite the default font for Excel being Calibri, I can no longer get it to automatically paste in Calibri. Any ideas?
Helen Brown
Have you set the export font in Accordance Preferences?
Neill
Thank you for the reply, Helen. I set everything to Helvetica Neue and it's working well with one exception. How do I set the default font size for Yehudit in the Word Chart as 12? It seems to default to 18.
Helen Brown
Sorry, there are no default options for the word chart. That feature has been there for 20 years, and there hasn't been a demand for changes to it.
Neill
Ha, well count this as my request for more options for the word chart! It makes pasting tab delimited text into Excel a breeze. I use it daily. The problem I was encountering was a change on Microsoft's end, so time to hassle them. Thanks again for all your help!
farcas
+1 Word chart is a gem! I've been using word chart for text crit for years - only way to get that RTL and LTR on the same page! If you're taking ideas.... I'd love to be able to select just one column from top to bottom at a time. I expected something like: ⌘ + ⇧ + ↓ Also kinda of a bummer there's no syntax or root included. And options to drop other things (e.g. translation, comments). Lastly, super thanks for making word charts! Don't know what I'd do without it for some of my workflow.
Neill
Absolutely, being able to select an entire column with one click would save me some time.
farcas
+1 "one click" would be even better!
