MaximumXC
Currently, using the down and up arrow keys within a text (a commentary, dictionary, lexicon, etc.) only move a cursor within the text. If you've been scrolling down, then want to go back up, it takes a while for the cursor to get back to the top of the screen. Also, the scrolling tends to be jumpy because the cursor goes down 1 line within a paragraph, but over 2 or 3 lines between paragraphs and headings. Turning scroll lock on or off does not change this cursor behavior. It'd be great if Accordance would allow screen scrolling (no cursor) when the scroll lock is on. That way, we can choose to use the arrow keys to navigate the text like reading a webpage. Down goes down, and up immediately goes up, no delay. The scroll rate would also be consistent, which makes reading much easier. Edited December 5, 2016 by MaximumXC
MaximumXC
Just curious if anyone from Accordance has read this post?
Joel Brown
We do read all posts and requests. These forums are a great way to gauge user interest in general, and topics with more user support end up receiving greater consideration. Thanks for your request! Do remember that in the Preferences -> General you can change the arrow keys to navigate by verse, rather than move the cursor. This is a bit closer to your suggestion.
