How to Install Accordance WITHOUT Internet?

Hi,

 

I am working in a Bible College which is in a maximum prison. I want students to experience Accordance, so I thought about installing on one of the department of corrections computers and let them see it first. I was able to install it, but then it asks me to connect to internet, to either sign up or log in. Is there a way to install Accordance without connecting to internet? or doing all these signups? The reason I am asking is, we are not allowed to have internet connections in here.

You could make the initial connection with a personal hotspot from you mobile; if are allowed to take your mobile in with you.  If not, you could request special permission from the governor explaining your purpose and intention.  All you need is one a one-off connection to register and you should be good to go.

Another idea that might work is set up the account on an outside computer and then copy the files to a jump drive and then run the 12 lite installer quite it and place the files in the proper location. Then theoretically it should see it as a completed install (someone from accordance will need to verify if this will work but it should in my mind).

Daniel, that method won't work

 

Joel, we are sorry that we require internet access to validate Accordance, but it is a step we are forced to take to protect the rights of the content publishers.  You may wish to consider contacting the office directly to see if they can assist you in finding a solution, however.  You can call them at 877-339-5855 or send an e-mail to orders@accordancebible.com.
