Footnotes/Bibliography problems in12.01?

Ok folks. I hope this is just me but I cannot seem to copy/paste bibliography info anymore.  If 'insert citation as footnote' is checked in prefs ....behavior is not correct for citation or bibliography.

Without that box checked in prefs...  citation and biography both give biography info ok. Really need the footnotes to be working.

Version 12 seemed to be working fine. Could someone confirm if this is a bug or if something has changed in my system.

MacOS Sierra 10.12.1

Can someone just confirm if they are able to get footnotes?

Thanks,

Drew

Pages has never supported automatic footnoting, so if you wish to paste into Pages, you'll need to leave the checkbox unchecked.  However, I am able to properly paste with footnoting into MS Word.  It properly has the content with a footnote marker, and the footnote inserted at the bottom of the page.

What version of MS Word are you pasting into?

I have also lost the ability to copy and paste bibliographic info. Prior to v12, I could select a portion of text and then right click on it, then choose the Copy As... Citation option. This let me paste that copied text into MS Word (latest version for Mac), and it would include the bibliographic info in a footnote. When I do that now--in v. 12.0.1--all I get is this (I copied one line of Psa 127:2 from the NASB):

“For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.”

(Ps 127:2 NAS95)

accord://read/NAS95S#Ps_127:2

This is troublesome. Tn fact, the only way I can functionally copy any portion of a text from within Accordance is to choose Copy As...No Superscript.

I thought I read that an upgrade was forthcoming (vs. 12.0.2?), and that this would fix this problem. But that upgrade has not come yet.

I am having the same issue. Whenever I try and copy as citation and paste into word (the newest version on office 365) on my MacBook there is no footnote inserting when I paste the text. Nor is there any footnote information on the bottom of the page.

Hey All,

Thanks for the confirmation that there is something problematic happening.

I did find a workaround within Word. Perhaps this might work for others?

Paste Special -> Paste as RTF text.

This seems to insert as expected.

But I do hope that Accordance is able to locate what would be causing the issue (as it seems they aren't able to reproduce)...

That method of pasting into Word worked for me--as least for the pasting part. I sure hope Accordance comes up with a fix on this soon, though. I'm working on my dissertation right now and it's kind of crunch time!
