goteeboy
I'm using Accordance for iOS 2.4.3 on iPhone 6S. The tab for selecting any User notes does not appear. The only tabs are Texts and Reference Tools. Please don't tell me I have to delete and reinstall. Any other simple fix? Thanks
Steve King
Not sure if this will make any difference in this instance but maybe worth shutting down Accordance on the phone then going to iphone settings and selecting the Accordance app then set the Remove Saved Session and Clear Download Cache buttons. Then try and restart Accordance and see what happens.
goteeboy
I've been fiddling around w/ this problem and here's what I've found. I deleted and reinstalled the app and the notes tab appears. However, when I sync with dropbox, it does one of two things. It says, "3 tasks remaining" and it freezes or it crashes. When I relaunch the app, the notes tab disappears. Here's the other thing I noticed. I thought it might be a Dropbox syncing issue so I tried syncing the normal way. So on my desktop when the syncing window appears, there is no line for notes syncing. I checked the preferences and syncing user notes has been checked. Also when I click a verse and the prompts come up and i click "USER NOTE" the only choices are Sample notes v2 and Mobile Notes. "My Mobile Notes" does not appear. Any advice from Accordance folks? Mike Garrity
The User Notes tab only shows up when there are User Notes. It appears that dropbox syncing is removing your notes. I would log in to your dropbox.com account and look in Dropbox > Apps > Accordance > User Notes. Then click on the trash icon to show deleted files. Hopefully, the deleted User Notes appear and you can restore them. Also, I would clean up any duplicates (notes with the same name and different extension) and sample notes. goteeboy
Thanks for the help. Here's what fixed it. I went to setting on the app, and unlinked dropbox and then re-connected it. Then synced and My Mobile Notes reappeared.
