rft183
Hi, I've been having a problem with the iPad app not loading when I have the English Orthodox Study Bible (SAAS+NKJV) open in the main window and the Orthodox Study Bible open in the split. It was working just fine as I've been reading through the Old Testament from beginning to (hopefully) end, until I got into 1 Kings. I think I was in 1 Kings 9 when I first ran into the problem. If I turn on "Remove Saved Session" in Settings, I can get it to start. If I use the English Orthodox Study Bible in the main window with any other Study Bible besides the Orthodox Study Bible in the split, I can start and restart it just fine. But if I leave the Orthodox Study Bible in the split when I swipe away the app, it hangs on loading again. Thanks for any help and suggestions! -Russel
rft183
On testing it again, it seems that it is 1 Kings Chapter 8 in the Orthodox Study Bible notes that is causing the problem.
Solly
Russel, thank you for persisting in experimenting and attacking the issue. Also, a very large thank you for reporting your findings. Operating systems and software packages in 2017 are so much larger and more complex than the decades ago when the personal computing age began. Now I keep notebooks and log actions I take and the system response with operating system changes. I do the same when I encounter puzzles with software and enter laboratory mode to try to figure out what is going on. We help one another and the software creators when we publish our results. Shalom, Joseph
