Search command analysis

When I search for [nouns] [count 50+] I expect the resulting analysis to show me nouns which occur more than 50 times in my text (in this case the vulgate but I have had the same issue with Greek and Hebrew). However, I get results which include things other than nouns and sometimes the occurrences the analysis claims is wrong. So delubrum as a result from the above search says it occurs 7 times. But if I search for delubrum in the same text it tells me it occurs 12 times. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

 

My goal with this search

I want to be able to create word lists for students to study vocabulary by frequency whether it is Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, or Latin.

Oh yes, I always forget that @ symbol. I think I have learned this a few times and forgotten it that many times.

Luke, in my ed psych classes (early 1970's), we were taught that it took an average of 21 encounters to transfer an idea from short term memory to long term memory. Now in my mid sixties, I am able to add the following to that rule of thumb: As one ages, the number of encounters required for transfer will increase in value somewhere between a geometric and exponential progression.

Hi Luke and Joseph,

As someone also slowly having more "senior moments" I usually find that using he construct search is simpler. All I need to remember for that is that each column represents a word. So place a NOUN item and. COUNT item in the same column. Adjust the count to be 1-50 and suddenly you'll be related to Bob.
