Jason2
My goal is to find the paragraph breaks (or equivalent for dividing a text into thought-groups) in the Greek NT. I have the GNT-T text in Accordance. When I select "Show Text As" > "Paragraphs"/"Paragraphs With Space," what is the basis of these paragraphs that are shown? For example, for 1 Peter 2, the paragraphs shown are 1:1-2, 3-12, 13-17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22-25; 2:1-10, 11-12, 13-17, 18-25. I have heard that ancient Greek texts did not use what we would think of as punctuation, but there were still textual methods of showing shifts in thought. As a side note, if I am unable to find these shift markers in GNT-T, please feel free to share any free online resources in this direction. Thank you. Rick Bennett
The paragraph formatting in GNT-T is based upon the Nestle Aland 27th edition.
