philomath
Is there any way to suppress superscripts (NAS95) when copying verses (Thompson Chain) from Instant Details?
Benjamin Gladd
I asked in the past and there wasn't a way to do so. But, I'm hopeful for the future!
Michel Gilbert
It seems many of us want more control over exporting text from Acc, control over formatting that is somewhat unique to biblical studies - over font name and size for different languages, and over biblical and other references - book name or abbreviation and verse numbering, in different languages (e.g., Hebrew name and numbering), regular style vs superscript or subscript, and semi-colon vs comma. My vote is for all of this, or as much as possible.
Joel Brown
When copying directly from Instant Details, no. But you can always click on the reference to open in tab, then select the verses and Copy As -> No Superscript from there.
philomath
Hi Joel, Thanks for the reply. I am aware of the option you outlined, but that is really not user friendly. I see in preferences that superscripts can be suppressed for texts (but only for all texts, not individually) but that does nothing for Instant Details. I hope the Accordance team will address this as the least user steps needed to accomplish what is desired is another way of redeeming the time.
