Are there any plans to add the New German Einheitsübersetzung as soon as it is available as electronic source? I'd love to have it.

May I return to this request? Today I found out that the new Einheitsübersetzung is now available as e-book. How are is the chance that you offer it for accordance in the near future?

I checked mostly the OT and obviously, one could argue about some decisions, but in principle it is a wonderful translation. Just awesome!

Best wishes, Boni

As I asked the Katholisches Bibelwerk Stuttgart about an Accordance module, they wrote to me back: This is unfortunately not planned.

Now I see https://de.logos.com/products/149338/einheitsubersetzung

Like the SCM Verlag all work with Logos. Unfortunately they have the popular Elberfelder, Neues Leben Bibel (New Living Bible in German), The translation from David Stern in German, Scofield in German, Ryrie Study Bible in German and many others.

Greetings

and now, recommend Logos instead of Accordance. What are you doing with your library?

Right now I'm neutral to Accordance. Ask me at the end of the year. But I wouldn't be surprised if I recommend then another software for the German world.

Yesterday I saw the guy again which I had recommended Accordance, but he didn't found the Einheitsübersetzung in the Accordance shop. See my post here. He found out Logos has it and also the catholic commentary in German which is for him his to go recourse outside of the Bible. I said he has to choose.

I have a bigger library in Accordance than many others. I think I don't leave Accordance but I think to invest the needed recourse in Logos in the future.

Greetings

Today I would go for Logos, they have more German texts.

That also means, for the German speaking part of Europe I would recommend Logos first.

If a potential buyer also speaks English, I would recommend him to have a look at Accordance.

This based on the fact that I have never seen any interest of Accordance in the German texts.

Personally I first buy books, paper first. Therefore I go along with Accordance, not willing to buy again the same stuff.

Gotta love paper ! I'm slowly learning to read on machines but paper is still my preference. I do now look for Kindle/Accordance and so on, and they are convenient for a variety of reasons, but ...

Thx

O.K. Time has come.

Sorry Accordance, but for the foreseeable future I see I have to recommend Logos for the German speaking world. Its not because of the software, but for the German contents.

For me I hope Accordance make still some progress in developing German content.

Greetings
