iPad: (iPhone) Have you checked if you are on the lastest release? On the Settings of iOS, iTunes & App Store you can check to Updates, so the Updates are installed automatically .
If you have Notes, Highlights etc. which you have only on the iPad then try to reset all others too and uncheck "Remember My Place" "Sync Bookmarks" and try again. After it works you can active the Place and Bookmarks again. This has helped me always.
If you have contents which you have only on the iPad and you want to save them. I would give Accordance Support a call or email. If you don't have such contents a new install and sync with the Mac. Can be the easiest way.
ATTENTION: My bug reports are all with the GERMAN INTERFACE and with the EUROPEAN NOTATION! It can be the English interface has no bug, which I describe.
