Hi,

In perusing the comments in various module requests, I see several comments from Accordance staff on the possibility of getting the Continental Commentary series available soon. The last comment I saw was in 2015. Maybe I missed a definitive yes/no, but is there an update anyone can give us as to the status of Continental Commentary? I know it tops the list of several of us in the land.

It is in the queue for development, no guesses as to a release date as yet.

We started development on it, but paused it when we had a big influx of long-awaited titles come in. We should be able to get back to it relatively soon. No release date to give yet, but I would say less than 6 months. So if you can hold off, we will release it in due time.

Thanks for the feedback.

  • Interests:The one existing installation (any devices/platforms) is 11.2.5 on an AMD A9 Dual Core laptop in a young scholar's hands, the software is in a balanced way using the speed that laptop can give it; and this config loads my books, uses slightly less battery than 12 would (which I do own the Basic Starter of under my account). 11 had a great Info Pane, partial download of Collections had already become possible, all settings that are needed for text preferences, both custom and assistive library sorting, Research, efficient and within the UI scalable use of the whichever monitor area You dedicate to it. I've got several extra Accordance 12.3.7 software licenses to gift - still have Nov. 14.-23. '19 - Jan. 1. - May 16. '20 and most likely for a good while still, multiple copies left beyond July '20 (just feel free to PM me if You want me to give one to get You up and running)! Developer team responsively and within what there is demand for adds new core functionality, turning into reality specialised type of modules, f.e. the recent Targums Wordmap. I'm skipping version 13 (for any others it will be of excellent though) and going straight to 14 whenever in 2022 it is released, and I want it to have any major expansion in History of Ideas or other Sciences at some of its point upgrades, at latest in 2024 in time for my authoring project, preferrably by introducing the 1911 Encyclopaedia Britannica to offline use

Unfortunately I won't buy the entire Continental set during the next many Years. Can it be split up in a module which contains the older volumes and a module which contains very recent modules from approx. the last 15-20 Years or less? I'm not always looking for just the newest, I'm hoping for Old Testament Library: Exodus by Brevard Childs from the '70s which I hope Accordance will produce but I can suggest that in another thread:

The supercomputerpower for Synthetic-aperture radar I'm; for research and blessing it for total respect for women; rigging up now in July 2020 is an Epyc 7002 Octacore '19; SmartOS; one 3200 MHz 32 GB RAM new meaning made from same silicone unit, stick per CPU core each, for the one mounted processor, i.e. balanced configuration high-performance mode; ZFS filesystem with overprovisioning Intel.Optane latest interface, one SAS HDD 12 Gbps, with both of their all full backup for starters to the two 200 GB Enterprise Edition 14mm thick SSD internal storage disks 6 Gbps SAS interface; Infiniband PCIe 4.0. 27" monitor 2560x1440 pixels that consumes 44 Watts on operation and almost nothing turned off or in standby. And someone else local within this state will pay my electricity consumption invoice by direct bank withdrawal of theirs. Electrical power ratings: CPU 105 W, GPU board 25 W, Infiniband chip 5 W, all of what is inside the tower coming from the power supply 800 Watts Platinum standard 94% conversion efficiency, but I expect the tower to consume roughly 525 Watts, + the monitor 42 W. Am growing only my Accordance and print libraries,
further along that line dismissing what else to maintain/add to and deepen. Postponing the purchase of: BNPauly series (because of not yet getting to that level).
All of the following things are MISC.: Yet more by-voice performances for Fine Culture in which I'm still going to rather occasionally be honed from private tuition usually either workday or Sunday daytime one hour at the Royal Music Academy, additionally getting out to the City in the form of part of ensemble a very few Saturdays daytime. Plus regular group rehearsals.
Have got a DCH subscription in print, €75 per volume+small amount for shipping. Being an ovo-vegetarian and only buy eggs farmed ecologically from within max 175 miles from wherever I at any given time am, refuse any other source for protein even when offered food or at invitations or the like. Best long past purchases: AYBC (2014-'15), NIV11-GKE. Biggest title 2017: OTL and parts of NTL (completed later what I needed when I got ot a few Accordance and print vols). Biggest title during 2018: https://twitter.com/...874763110559744 And under 2019: NICOT/NICNT. None enormous or high volume-count content purchases in '20-'21 due to research backlog and finally getting limitless Firefox web-browsing system. I can safely be encouraged. Y’all might want to post under module request, not feature request. Feature and module are two different things. 👍😁👌

I moved it, but if memory serves, there used to simply be one forum that was later split into two, which is why some older module requests are in the wrong folder.
