bobinberea
Sent this query to Oaktree: In my Accordance Library, under Tools, Parallels appears at the verybottom, but I would like to have them appear almost at the top, since Iuse them so much. However, even though I can click and drag most (all??)Library items up and down to re-position them in the listing of Libraryitems, I cannot move the Parallels item. It seems to be stuck at thebottom. Is there a way to move Parallels toward the top, so that I can get at itmore easily? Answer from tech support: Thank you for writing. The Parallels is the default ‘anchor’ of the Tools category of the library and cannot be currently moved. Me: There must be a reason for making Parallels an "anchor" in Tools, but the need for that is not obvious to me. All I know is that to get to the Parallels, which I use all the time, I have to scroll past lots of Tools that I never use. I wish I could 'elevate' Parallels to a prominent position toward the top. Helen Brown
The Info Pane which you can open in parallel to the text, gives you much more efficient access to the Parallels. It displays links to each Parallel that includes the verse at the top of the pane, so you no longer need to guess whether or not there is a parallel passage. A simple option would be to have a button for Parallels as we do for the other major tool categories, to add to the Toolbar. This would require much less programming than reorganizing the Library panel.
