A. Smith Posted March 8, 2017 Share Posted March 8, 2017 In v11, I would copy a word from a OL text and cmd>alt>shift>v to paste in the same style as my note. In v12, this is only working inconsistently. Sometimes I get ???????? pasted instead. Is this a bug? Has something changed? The problem is particularly prominent when pasting Hebrew font. NB: I don't understand a lot about unicode, fonts and whatnot. I just know that I can make the OL letters the same color and type as my English writing and that the accordance note editor says that they are in, for example, Helvetica Neue even as they display greek or Hebrew letters. I wonder if some extra step of the process is happening whenever you get your results as '???????'. Yes. After a call with Billy he found it is an issue with older notes files. With new notes, checking the option to export as unicode works as expected. With at least some older notes, it doesn't. We went through a handful of workaround options, including making all the various text options 'accordance'. However, what ultimately works is to disable export as unicode. Then paste and match style works perfect. Since I'm working almost exclusively with a notes file I've been using since accordance 8, that works for me. In Old User Notes or in User Notes? I've only got one notes folder 'User Notes' and yes, this note, and all my notes, are .amynotes, which, as I understand, is the newish format.
