Can't Install Accordance 12

I am having frustration trying to install Accordance 12 on a MacBook, Snow Leopard 10.6.8.  This computer formerly had an old Accordance installed, but I think I deleted all of the old Accordance stuff.  I downloaded the DMG for Mac from Accordance.  I opened the DMG & slid Accordance into applications.  But then when I tried to activate Accordance, "Accordance" appeared in the top tool bar & a popup screen occured over the Desktop saying "Where is the file for the 'ASV' text?"  Selecting modules > texts yielded a blank list.  When I went to Easy Install, a popup demanding to log in came up. When I logged in with password, "loading purchase" appearsed, but Accordance crashed, & I saw the desktop. (I have tried repeatedly with no success.)

I don't know why install gives a demand for the ASV text.

How do I get Accordance installed & working?

That prompt means you likely did not delete everything from the old installation. My guess is that you have old preference files still on this machine. I would look in your preferences folder inside your Library folder for an old Accordance preferences folder. If you cannot find this then it is best to contact technical support to walk you through it.

Great Scott!  I went into the preferences dept & found a bunch of junk.  I threw everything out the window related to Accordance.  Then I downloaded de novo; did the DMG again (short for DiskiMaGe?) .  & now Easy Install worked!  I wonder how difficult it would be for Accordance to have an application included to uninstall Accordance so one doesn't have to hunt for the stuff?

Thank you so very, very much, Scott.
