Daniel Saunders
Hi, Since updating my iPad 4 to iOS 10.3, Accordance has been crashing on startup. I get to the 'splash screen', and then it goes black and back to the home screen. The update to Accordance 2.5 hasn't changed anything (though once I saw the 'see what's new' page). I wondered if iOS had deleted part of the library to make space for 10.3, but I've now uninstalled and reinstalled the application, and the crash still happens. On my iPhone 5s everything is working fine.
Scott Knapp
Are you saying a fresh install of v2.5 on your iPad running iOS 10.3 crashes at startup before you sync or download any other content?
Daniel Saunders
Yes, that's right. The problem started with iOS 10.3 and Accordance 2.4 (was that the previous version?). I tried again this morning when 2.5 was released (updating without deleting). Then I deleted Accordance (clicked the X button when the icon was wobbly) and then reinstalled via the App Store. I haven't synced or downloaded because I can't get that far into the app. Edited March 30, 2017 by Daniel Saunders
Daniel Saunders
And I just tried what was suggested here—no difference.
Scott Knapp
Try deleting the app again, restarting your iPad, downloading a fresh cop yfrom the App Store, and launching again. Also, what default language is your iPad set to?
Daniel Saunders
Did that, still crashing on startup. Language is set to English (Australia)
Robert Holmstedt
I am having a similar problem. First I updated Accordance. It crashed repeatedly at startup. So then I deleted it and updated to iOS 10.3. Reinstalled Accordance app. Crash, crash, crash, crash. Repeat. Delete. Install. Crash. And all over again.
the_reverend
I'm having the same problem. Just updated to iOS 10.3 with Accordance 2.5 - app crashes on startup. Gets to startup screen then to black and crashes. I have managed to get to the EULA screen (going via 'Siri app suggestions'), tapped 'agree' and got the 'configuring' message before it went black. I've tried deleting and reinstalling, but no joy.
freney
Same here. iOS 10.3, iPhone 5, Acc 2.5: splash screen, then crash. I've tried reinstalling the app, resetting things in the settings app, but no joy.
Helen Brown
Our developers are working to isolate and fix this crash as soon as possible. Not everyone experiences it, but for those who do, we do not have a workaround at present.
csonni
Just came across this thread. I started a thread with the same crashing issue. Starts up on my iPhone fine, but not on my iPad.
Daniel Saunders
Just wanting to confirm Helen's comment. I was contacted by one of the iOS developers last week, and been able to send through some further details for him to track down the issue. I'm sure there'll be a fix soon.

Michel Gilbert
FWIW, I've got 10.3.2, Public Beta 2 I think, and there are no problems.
Chris Rockwell
I'm currently working on tracking down this issue and after don't some research, I want everyone who's crashing to try restarting your device and seeing if that makes a difference. It appears to be an issue with iOS 10.3 at this point with the file system changes, but we're working hard to sort it out. If you don't know how to restart, check this out https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201559 I hope this gets everyone back up and running in the meantime. We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused. Thanks, Chris
the_reverend
I've just restarted again - still no joy. Gets to the EULA screen, then 'configuring', then black and crashes.
Scott Knapp
Please update to iOS v10.3.1 and try again.
Robert Holmstedt
Updated to 10.3.1 and can only get to EULA screen (and even then only after about 5 quick app crashes). I also did a force restart and no luck.
Chris Rockwell
Ok. Thanks for trying these out. We're hoping to find a workaround in the mean time so we can get everybody back up and running while we sort this out. We'll keep you all posted on any progress. Truchas7
I've been following this discussion as I have the same problem on my iPad 4. I've tried everything that's been suggested and still crash when I touch 'Agree' on the EULA screen. Thanks for your efforts to resolve this issue. Chris Rockwell
Everyone (crashing on 10.3), I believe we've tracked down and fixed the issue that is causing the 10.3 crashes. We just put out a beta to confirm that this issue has been resolved and, if so, we'll be release the update soon. If you're one of our beta testers, be sure to download the latest TestFlight beta (version 2.5.1 build 2.5.0.8629) and confirm that this issue has been resolved. We appreciate your patience during this process and hope to get everyone back up and running within the next couple days. Thanks, Chris
