sloras
When I open the Hebrew Bible Tagged and the ESV with Strongs or the HCSBS with Strongs, I can highlight the Hebrew word and the English is also highlighted at same time in the parallel window. This also brings up a note with the original language word and a definition. I want to be able to do this simultaneously in another window in the Greek Septuagint and see the word highlighted. This will tell me the exact word in Greek as determined by the LXX Hebrew translators when I highlight a Hebrew or English word.Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this, or what I need to be able to do this? I also have the Hebrew Greek Lexicon, but it does not highlight when identifying a word in the other windows. Thanks, Scott
Helen Brown
Cross highlighting between the Hebrew or translated Bible and the LXX is not available at present since no-one has tagged the LXX with the equivalent Hebrew word or Strong's number. However we do have a good solution using the MT-LXX Parallel Database by Tov and Polak. If you buy this module you can add it in parallel to see how each Hebrew word/phrase in rendered in the LXX. You can also search it separately or with the powerful MERGE command to find all the ways a specific word is translated. The interlinear feature in Accordance will add the Greek word under the Hebrew. It requires either the Parallel or the MT-LXX Interlinear, and for full results also a tagged LXX text.

Hi Helen, Would you mind describing what you had in mind here? (see red text) I think I would like to try something like that. Fabian
I wrote this to the Publisher, but got no answer. I really love the NIV with GK/E (the phrase tagging) in Accordance. As the publisher of the Goodrick and Kohlenberger Numbers I would love If you can expand the Numbers to the LXX? The most words are also in the NT. So you would be able with Dr. Rex Koivisto to tag the Rahlfs LXX and just the LXX Göttingen in Accordance. So you can take the G/K numbers and tag the LXX and for the words which are not in the NT you as the publisher can create new numbers. This would be then a Strongest Strong’s with LXX. The LXX with G/K numbers and the Phrase tagging for Accordance would be the maximum. I would love to have this in Accordance with phrase tagging. https://www.accordancebible.com/NIV11-GKE Greetings Fabian
Helen Brown
David: The MERGE command is fully documented in the Help files, and there is a podcast using the MT-LXX and the MERGE.
