After install of version 12, copy as citation includes the accord:// URL even though that option is not selected in preferences / citation reference. Checking that option, clicking OK, then re-opening preferences and unchecking the option succeed in getting the citation to paste as expected. The Citation preferences affect Copy as Citation from texts, while the Bibliography preferences affect Copy as Citation from tools.
