davidburson
I'm posting this as an fyi in case someone else has the same problem: I downloaded the Search Ranges from http://www.accordancefiles1.com/exchange/highlights.htm, unzipped and copied the "Search Ranges.acc1" file into "~/Library/Preferences/Accordance Preferences". But even after quitting Accordance and restarting it, I didn't see the new ranges. However, I had previously created a couple of ranges myself. When I removed "Search Ranges.apref" from the Accordance Preferences folder and started Accordance again, the ranges from "Search Ranges.acc1" showed up. So, I assume the ranges I created were stored in "Search Ranges.apref". It appears the .apref file takes precedence over the .acc1 file. Hopefully if I create new search ranges now, Accordance will add them to the list from the .acc1 file.
Fabian
Hello David At the moment only one Search Range file can be in the folder (or Range Set in Accordance). Please see the instructions below. Instructions to install: Replace the Search Ranges file in the Accordance Preferences folder (in user/Library/Preferences for OS X, and in C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Accordance\Accordance Preferences for Windows. To see the user/Library on Mavericks/Lion/Mountain Lion, press option as you open the Go menu. You cannot access these Preferences easily for the AppStore version of Accordance 10.) You have to cut your file in another Folder (if you want safe them) and the Range set from the Accordance Exchange to the folder where was the original one.
