Can someone help me understand the light blue replace-highlight here?

 

There is nothing in the Gö volume that actually replaces the light blue text, so I would think that this would be a blue insert-underline, like the καί.

I think your Compare text is set to Multiple texts which compares each pane to the first and does not highlight any differences in the first pane. You can set that in the tiny gear (action) menu beside the Compare checkbox, as well as in Preferences. Comparing Single texts highlights the differences on both sides.
