I would love to see a few things added to User Tools. Being able to add footnotes, able to sync a tool with Bible verses (like with User Notes) and to be able to add a book cover like regular modules.

Greetings

Fabian

ATTENTION: My bug reports are all with the GERMAN INTERFACE and with the EUROPEAN NOTATION! It can be the English interface has no bugs, I describe.

PLEASE!
Bring more international Bibles to the store,
fix my reported bugs, even the old ones which never was addressed,
develop my feature requests, the new once and the once I made years ago,
in nearer future.

Footnotes! Yes!

Add a few more:

•Tables

•More robust import. I currently get extremely unpredictable results.

These things would turn user tools into something I could use constantly in my teaching instead of just once or twice a year.

  • Interests:To Things Developing the New Timeline Taught Me about History: I'd add: "Christianity" had a short memory back in time in the late 13th-15th centuries A.D., it went towards the end of that time completely OFF what to worship and the core and history. The one existing installation (any devices/platforms) is 11.2.5 on an AMD A9 Dual Core laptop in a young scholar's hands, the software is in a balanced way using the speed that laptop can give it; and this config loads my books, uses slightly less battery than 12 would (which I do own the Basic Starter of under my account). (I also have a non-Accordance machine: 17" Win10, and 15" Linux (that I don't right now have a 2.5" 7mm SATA 3G disk for (does anyone want to mail me one?)). 11 had a great Info Pane, partial download of Collections had already become possible, all settings that are needed for text preferences, both custom and assistive library sorting, Research, efficient and within the UI scalable use of the whichever monitor area You dedicate to it, advanced knowledge books. I've got several extra Accordance 12.3.7 software licenses to gift - still have Nov. 14.-23. '19 - Jan. 1. - May 16. '20 - Sept 18. '20 and most likely for a good while still, multiple copies left beyond Sept '20 (just feel free to PM me if You want me to give one to get You up and running)! I'm skipping version 13 (for any others it will be of excellent though) and going straight to 14 whenever in 2022 it is released, and I want it to have any major expansion in History of Ideas or other Sciences at some of its point upgrades, at latest in 2024 in time for my authoring project, preferrably by introducing the 1911 Encyclopaedia Britannica to offline use.
    ▪ Right now last third of Sept '20 I'm looking for sponsors for GPU for the supercomputer - my parents are wanting to buy me all of it but I can't motivate the GPU to them since that part is not so very cost-performance effective and is not universal usage.
Today Sunday Sept 20. I don't have any Bible Software in use on any device

As far as syncing with Bible verses goes, I've been able to use the user notes import for this. See https://www.accordan...-to-user-notes/

Since Accordance has made some progress for tables in the Tools I would love to have support for tables in User Tool too.

Support for non-breaking space. At the moment \x{A0} results to † that's not so fine.

I would love to import the Textbook and the Workbook from https://faculty.gord...OfContents.htmlwith no hassle.

Thanks

Greetings

Fabian

In line with a comment I made last month (https://www.accordan...-tool/?p=131416), I'd like to specify here too that my interest in these features is simply for me as a user to be able to make Tools and Reference Tools that I can use in Accordance and sync to mobile devices. I just want to import data: I don't need them to be User Tools in the sense of something that I can edit in Accordance.

As to the format, I prefer to work in Markdown, which I can turn into HTML, DOCX, TEI Simple (XML), and many other formats with pandoc. In HTML, footnotes can be represented with ARIA doc-noteref and doc-backlink attributes.
