rayfeb09
I would love to see a few things added to User Tools. Being able to add footnotes, able to sync a tool with Bible verses (like with User Notes) and to be able to add a book cover like regular modules.

JoshuaB
Another vote for these features in User Tools.
Joel Arnold
Footnotes! Yes! Add a few more: •Tables •More robust import. I currently get extremely unpredictable results. These things would turn user tools into something I could use constantly in my teaching instead of just once or twice a year.

jlm
+1 As far as syncing with Bible verses goes, I've been able to use the user notes import for this. Fabian
Since Accordance has made some progress for tables in the Tools I would love to have support for tables in User Tool too. Support for non-breaking space. At the moment \x{A0} results to † that's not so fine. I would love to import the Textbook and the Workbook from https://faculty.gordon.edu/hu/bi/ted_hildebrandt/New_Testament_Greek/MNTG_Interactive/MNTG_TableOfContents.htmlwith no hassle. Thanks Greetings Fabian
jlm
In line with a comment I made last month (https://www.accordancebible.com/forums/topic/26661-table-in-a-user-tool/?p=131416), I'd like to specify here too that my interest in these features is simply for me as a user to be able to make Tools and Reference Tools that I can use in Accordance and sync to mobile devices. I just want to import data: I don't need them to be User Tools in the sense of something that I can edit in Accordance. As to the format, I prefer to work in Markdown, which I can turn into HTML, DOCX, TEI Simple (XML), and many other formats with pandoc. In HTML, footnotes can be represented with ARIA doc-noteref and doc-backlink attributes.
