Is there a way to hide the extra spaces that the NIV2011-GKE includes?

For instance, when I want to compare the NIV 2011 to the NIV 1984, it shows a red mark for what I presume is the extra spaces included for tagging purposes in the 2011.

Or does the red line refer to something else?

Speaking of colored marks, is there a key somewhere that defines what the various marks refer to?

Thank you!

In my copy ( on ios sorry) i have note references where you have extra space. Notes shown in second image. Guess its a preference that you are not showing reference letters but getting space. There are Fewer notes in the 84 edition image 3.

I think all your issues can be resolved in preferences... the spacing primarily here... under Text Display.

I'm not sure I'm following you. The NIVGK modules have extra spaces for tagging purposes. Those spaces then show up in the compare feature. It's not a matter of line breaks, I don't think.

Sorry I misread that I thought you had marked it up with the red lines.... I have that module and do not see those lines, I hope someone can help you figure things out as I have no idea what had caused that...

Go to Preferences/Compare Text and you can see the "Color Codes" (which you can also change).

Also, nice catch--I've seen something like this happen with other texts, where an extra (or errant) space in a biblical text triggered a comparison marking. Would be nice to have the algorithm updated to not take those spaces into account.

As of now the spaces cannot be hidden due to the tagging method used. However, it might be a good feature request to 'ignore spacing' (or similar) for compare texts.
