Consistency of options

This is a big request: Consistency of positive and negative options. 

 

For instance, many of the preferences and settings are positive, such as "Show," "Add," "Use," "Include," etc. 

 

Meanwhile, many other preferences and settings are negative such as, "Hide," "Strip," "Suppress," or "Omit."

 

Not having them all the same leaves me often confused because of the negatives. The worst offender, at least to me, is the Content References. It says "Show as" and then the bottom options are "Omit _____."

 

It reminds me of why we in English don't often use double negatives (it makes it positive) or triple negatives (which keeps it negative). It just makes it more confusing. 

 

Any chance we could just change them all to positives? You could still have the same options (and defaults, depending on whether that particular option or box is checked), but it would be less confusing.
