Kindle Versions of Books and Accordance

Is it possible to view Kindle books within Accordance?

 

Accordance doesn't (yet?!) offer the Baylor Handbook series for work in Old and New Testament translating. The only electronic version I can find is Kindle. I no longer have the living space to store more than a very few physical books.

This is not possible now. With licensing issues it may never be possible.

You can use the Kindle app for your computer.  At least that way you can have the book in electronic form for cutting and pasting.  You can even create a Collection just for the Baylor Handbooks, and another for EGGNT.  

 

While for formatting for the EGGNT seems to be better than Kindle formatting for some other works, in 1 Pet the Table of Contents is incomplete, lacking IV.  Additionally, the Contents lacks Scripture references for each Chapter.  Oh, for an Accordance Browser!  I would love to see these resources available in Accordance!

The ability to create multiple desktops with Windows 10 is a fantastic feature, though this is a common feature of UNIX, BSD, Linux, macOS, and probably other operating systems. It is well worth the effort to learn how to use multiple desktops, for they allow easy switching among tasks as well as easy cutting and pasting between tasks. I find that it is much easier to switch among desktops than to minimize and maximize (or hide and unhide) windows.

Solly – I have used multiple desktops in Mac for so long that I can't remember when I started – probably about the time the feature was added.  Accordance has its own.  Pages & Numbers are right "next door."  Desktop 1 is Mail and Safari.  It really does streamline the normal tasks.
