Once they have proof of purchase and are satisfied its a legitimate copy they usually add all the modules to your account, which you can then download as normal. You shouldn't have to install the software, which in any case may prove difficult if it is written for the older iOS (Classic) versions. Go to open under the file menu do into the modules folder on the CDROM and install them all.... (the exception to installing them all comes to the possible inclusion of EBC/NIDNT/NIDOTTE IF those files are there they are locked to numbered code and were on the CDROM as convenience for purchasing an unlock. Unfortunately, of all the good modules that it includes, the topical Bible was my primary concern and it looks like I got the "compact" instead of the full version. Not good at all since I was willing to pay (and paid) a good amount hoping to get the full version. Helen, is there any way to get the "full" version? Personally, I still find it reasonably detailed and helpful and I'm wondering if there is a big difference between the two versions? ( I don't have anything to compare it with). I could be mistaken, in which case someone will hopefully correct me, but I believe the compact NIV Nave's was the only one ever licensed to Accordance from Zondervan. As a customer, I purchased all of the Zondervan packages available back in the day, and I don't have anything but the compact edition myself. ukfraser Posted June 23, 2017 Share Posted June 23, 2017 (edited) What i would do is go and make yourself a big cafetière of coffee, open your mac or pc and open accordance with two tabs, one with niv naves and one with the other naves. Then scroll through them both and check entries. One of rhe things you wanted was grouping and im guessing all words that need grouping will be in niv. Minor words with minimal non groupable text may be missing Depends how important those words then become. But do it this weekend, then you can make an informed descision. ;o) Ps my cd in june 2011 cost me $69 with $18 postage. My first purchase was a tagged nrsv which set me back $49. It just shows how we have become accustomed to recent lower prices that accordance have managed to negotiate for us. The modules that were installed were very basic and compact references (compact dictionary, compact topical Bible, NIV study Bible, NIV notes, and a resource about places in the Bible). I would hope no one is selling CDROM's and keeping the files, but I know that is an issue, however this is the only way to get the NIV study Bible, NIV Naves, and 1984 NIV. I honestly do not want anyone committing copyright violation but do understand the desire by some for these resources. Most particularly the NIV1984 which some people value as gold (I am one who much prefer 2011 NIV). -dan PS: Accordance offers DICTIONARY OF BIBLE THEMES which while I am not as big of fan of it as NIV Naves, it is a similar item, although I do come from a bit of ignorance with this one because I have the Study Bible version of it and am not too sure if it was greatly expanded from the Study Bible form of it I possess in Accordance.
