Luke Bert
I would like to be able to search for 1. words in the Hebrew bible excluding Aramaic. So all words occurring the HB less then 70 times but excluding Aramaic words. 2. Only Aramaic words occurring less than 5 times. One struggle I always have with making Hebrew/Aramaic searches is that when I type the font goes right to left even when I try to type something like "-0". Also is there a guide for making these types of searches anywhere? Maybe just a text file with sample searches and some sample guides on how to make searches in the search bar for things like frequency?
Helen Brown
There are detailed instructions in the Help files: Biblical Research and Analyses > Search Criteria, and look at both symbols and commands. For this search you need this string, but of course it is reversed here compared to the Search window, however, it does paste back in correctly. [COUNT 1-69]@-*־0 which, being interpreted is: [COUNT 1-69] all lemmas that occur in the entire text between 1 and 69 times @ combined with the next criterion - NOT * any lemma _ underscore (the upper hyphen for the number suffix in Hebrew) 0 zero for Aramaic You second is even easier: [COUNT 1-4]@*־0
