Daniel Francis
I was just wondering if anyone else is interested in the CEB Study Bible? I have only seen online samples but think it could be nice to have in Accordance. -dan Edited June 5, 2017 by Daniel Francis
Paul Meiklejohn
It looks very interesting. I'd be interested.
Daniel Francis
Having seen it in the flesh and contrasting and comparing it to the New Interpreter's Study Bible (seeing it is by the same publisher), it is not always an improvement in my mind indeed the notes while both good often go at the text in a little different approach. I can safely say. Purchase of the CEBSB in my mind doesn't negate the value usefulness of the NISB, While not a complet parallel one might say the the LAB is not a replacement for the NIVSB but a nice compliment. -dan
ukfraser
I still live in hope accordance will get the The New Oxford Annotated Bible with Apocrypha: New Revised Standard Version 4th (or 5th 6th 7th edition, or whichever is the latest when oup finally wake up to the fact that accordance needs to be taken seriously). ;o)
Daniel Francis
Preaching to the choir, NOAB is top of my wish list, but the CEBSB is more likely to make it Accordance first for the simple reason Abingdon seems more than willing to play ball, while OUP is more difficult to deal with from what I have heard. And when it comes to NOAB I think I remember hearing they wanted a completely unreasonable amount to allow it to be developed... This makes little sense in my mind but they own the rights and they do what they want. -dan
revmjcarlson
I agree that having the study notes to the CEB would be a valuable addition!

Daniel Francis
Just a bump, I know the powers that be have seen it but with enough likes there is always a chance it may get pursued (although as we were reminded in another thread, so many Study Bibles to consider). -dan Edited December 4, 2017 by Daniel Francis
R. Daniel Francis
I would bet if you had one to recommend they might be able to start the ball rolling to see if they can get them. I know it must be frustrating seeing all the new english resources come out when you want some more in your native language. I am not honestly in a huge rush for this one especially with NOAB just being released but this is one is still one i would like to see. -dan

Ryan Gunderson
I’ve tried to stay only with Accordance. Olive Tree just added CEB Study Bible. Should I buy it and HarperCollins Study Bible since neither is available through Accordance? Or are one or both on Accordance’s near term roadmap?
