Hiya,

Is there any reason why the term "Accordance electronic ed." has/is being dropped in citations?

i.e.

Before 12.1 update

Craig C. Broyles, Psalms, Understanding the Bible Commentary Series. Accordance electronic ed. (Grand Rapids: Baker Books, 2012), 41-44.

accord://read/UB_Commentary#17530

After 12.1 update

Hall, Christopher A. Worshiping with the Church Fathers. 1.1. Downers Grove: InterVarsity Press, 2009.

Oh wow, this is great! I hate having to delete that part of the citation every single time I copy across any text into my research document.

Although, dropping the brackets is annoying, ill have to add two characters every time I copy across text now instead :/

I like it when the "Accordance electronic ed." is included in the citation. However, I think it should be up to the user to configure whether or not it's included.

In word you can set up macros or an auto correct to do a lot of repetitive tasks for you if there are things you do repeatedly.

I had a numberof both set up and removed all the standard ones which came with word. Mind you i deleted all the word templates and styles and set up my own as well plus created my own mini tool bar and customised those silly image tool bar. Why i like indesign, just so much more configurable.

;o)

Having the version number still appear though makes it confusing. That's not what you would expect if your were quoting from the dead tree edition.

Ah, good catch! I didn't notice that in the sample you posted at the beginning. Based on that, I think the change is probably an oversight.

UPDATE: Have noticed that this only occurs for some of the tiles I have in my Accordance library, for example, the recently promoted titles by Hall in the Focus on the Fathers sale but not for articles from my IVP dictionary
