Brett K.
I know user tools can be imported from different formats. Does Accordance only allow importing user Bibles from plain text format? No html? No mechanism for notes?I just wanted to be sure before I do a whole lot of editing. Thanks-- Brett

Joel Brown
Just to note, we do support some markup, so it is essentially a cross between plain text and a XML/HTML variant. You can see what's supported here: http://accordancefiles2.com/helpfiles/OSX11/content/topics/05_dd/preparing_the_text-ub.htm

Brett K.
Just an FYI for those who don't know (I didn't until now), if you include notes in your user Bible as superscript, they won't appear when you Copy as Citation. So you can have the notes appear on screen, but not get in the way if you copy and paste the verse. Here's an example. The following screen shot is a verse from a user Bible I created. The notes are superscripted. But, when I Copy as Citation, this is how it looks: "And God said, "Let the earth produce green plants that will bear seed--fruit trees bearing fruit in which there is seed --according to its kind, on the earth." And it was so." (Gen 1.11) So you get the best of both worlds--on screen notes, no notes when you copy. Edited June 24, 2017 by Brett K.

I do the same but this is not what we exactly want. Greetings Fabian
