I just upgraded to 12.1.1 (Mac) and was typing away at a note when I decided I wanted a phase to be bolded. So I hit command-b and Accordance Crashed!

I reopened the application and tried to reproduce the crash - I did.

I reopened a second time, and tried the button on the toolbar - crash.

I reopened and tried changing from "regular" to "bold" typeface - no crash.

I changed from Late to Helvetica and tried both the button and the shortcut key to activate bold - no crash.

So there seems to be a problem with the Lato font and the commands for character formatting.

Try holding down the "option" key when starting Accordance and click the check box for "clean up installed fonts."

Can you please post a crash report from any of the crashes?

My sincere apologies - my schedule ran away from me and I've been working on iOS. I just activated the bug again and the report is below:

Thanks, Wes. We actually just found this bug a couple of days ago ourselves and already fixed it for the next release.  You should have it soon!

Since you asked out of curiosity, we had recently added some new code that changed how we change Bold and Italic styles for mixed text.  For instance, if you selected text that was half bold, half normal, and you hit the Bold button, prior to this update, it would remove the bold from the first half, but add bold to the second half.  This isn't entirely intuitive, and it is certainly different from most other apps, so we changed the logic.  However, in the new logic, we did have a crash in certain cases, that's now fixed.
