Daniel Francis
I have been a fan of the Inclusive Bible (http://liturgy.co.nz/the-inclusive-bible), I thought it would be more useful to me as an Accordance module. I am considering doing it up for myself but seem to remember there being certain limitations in that it has to follow KJV versification and order (?) I think for the most part this is not an issue but I had hoped it to be a complete Bible with the Apocryphal books. Is this possible or would I need to excise it down to standard 66 protestant only? I find I use the IB very little because it is in pub/PDF format (purchased give you both). I would be quite happy to purchase it in Accordance but realize for the most part this is likely to much a niche translation for you to want to pursue. But was just pondering in my mind if making it into a user module personal Bible might not be a viable option with now or someday. -dan
Fabian
I hope it too, OakTree bore the options up to import Bibles. Greetings Fabian
R. Mansfield
Dan, although I've not done it before, it's my understanding that imported Bibles can include apocryphal/deuterocanonical books. See Accordance 12 Help: Digging Deeper: Importing Bibles for some of the parameters to follow.
Daniel Francis
Thanks Fabian has said he is more than willing to help too as he has done a few, the limitations I was thinking of disappeared apparently sometime around 11.1...... -dan
Daniel Francis
In the Beginning1 God created the heavens and the earth. 2 But the earth became chaos and emptiness, and darkness came over the face of the Deep—yet the Spirit of God was brooding over the surface of the waters.2 3 Then God said, “Light: Be!” and light was. 4 God saw that light was good, and God separated light from darkness. 5 God called the light “Day” and the darkness “Night.” Evening came, and morning followed—the first day. Just the briefest of samples from the start of genesis. -dan
