Multiple instant commentaries

I would like to request that there be a quick way to bring up a secondary commentary set using the triple click function on verse references.

 

Someone suggested using tied tabs for that but it's a couple steps removed from immediacy and efficiency. For example, when I want to look at another Bible translation, I could have a tied tab, but all I need to do is press control + number. Also I don't normally have multiple panes or workspaces open because that's how I like my setup.

 

I envision something like holding command (or another button) + triple click to bring up the second commentary set in the library.
