Alistair
Some of the modes have a "title page" entry in the table of contents, a first entry that takes you to the beginning of the document. However this is not consistent through all modules, For example, the Reformation Study Bible has "theological notes" as the first entry in the TOC. I find that if I click on this I then have to scroll manually up to the top of the module. It would be better and more consistent to have a "Title page" or "Top of document" entry in every module's TOC.
Rick Bennett
We typically do not add any kind of artificial titles into modules. If you've seen "title page" or something similar in the TOC/Browser, then it was likely added by the publisher. You can also do an asterisk * search in the module and it will bring you to the top. Thanks for the feedback.
Alistair
Well, I didn't literally mean Quote/Unquote "Title page", but rather I meant the name of the module (and in some cases I have seen the authors as well, making for a long entry in the TOC). Besides, clicking once on a link in the TOC is lot easier than having to click in the search box, type shift-8 (using two hands!), and then pressing return. Rick Bennett
The title of a module should display in the TOC/browser. Exceptions to this are General Tools (grammars, etc.) where it is skipped and won't render in the TOC/Browser. This is somewhat of a longstanding idiosyncrasy in how General Tool modules are complied, whereas all other types will have the title of the work rendered and clickable in the TOC/Browser. Your example of Reformation Study Bible does have the title of the work rendered in the TOC/Browser. correction: the 2015 edition does not. Alistair
The titles to the Reformation Study Bible the Life Application Study Bible and the Eerdmans Commentary on the Bible (for example) are not displayed in the TOC. The Tyndale series has one and so do the NICOT and NICNT series
Rick Bennett
As we make periodic updates we will try to standardize this. Thanks for the feedback.
