Flavian
Hello. I am new to Accordance (used BW10 before) and I have to say I really do love it Right now I am working on a Greek Language course. I am learning the Words with Anki Flashcards. I have prepared a csv file which contains the 1000 most frequent Greek words. Now I want to do a Dictionary query for all of them. Is that possible? I simply want Accordance to output a list of the entries in "Thayer" according to my Greek list. That would save a lot of time. Is there any way to do that? So that I do not have to do it by hand? Help is very much appreciated. Florian
Helen Brown
If you can convert the list to one separated by commas, you can paste sections inside parentheses into Thayer. This is my attempt, the top words in the Lukan Corpus. I had to remove the homograph markers and one word that wasn't found, but I got most of them. There is a limit to the number of characters in the Entry box.
Flavian
Thank you! That helps a lot. But how do I now export the entries that are marked red? For I figured Accordance will mark the entries red rather than generate a page with only the queried entries on it. If I would copy it I would just have the entire Thayer dictionary copied Florian
Flavian
Don't bother, I found it! Great! Oh, this is beautiful! For someone who might search for the same: In the Thayer Window there's a little "toothed wheel" symbol, there you have to select "show text as Article" (Don't know how it is spelled exactly for I am using the German interface)
