How to Search for 2MS Qatal forms with the heh-mater

Hi,

 

I was wondering how I might search the Hebrew Bible for all occurrences of a perfect 2MS verb (qatalta) that includes the final heh mater.  (e.g. גַּרְתָּה Genesis 21:23.

Try this:

[VERB perfect second masculine] @"*ה"

The right-to-left is off, but the idea still stands.  You can define the grammatical parts by doing Search menu -> Enter Tag -> Verb, and choosing the options you like (perfect, second person, and masculine in your case).  Then you also want to specify a lexical element, ending in 'heh'.  To specify that, you want to use double quote markers to specify an inflected search (as opposed to lexical), then search for the heh with an asterisk before it, representing it must be the last character of your word.  Finally, the two parts get combined with the '@' sign.
