Can you search across combined resources?

Hi all,

Combined resources is a great new feature. However, have I understood it correctly that you cannot search across CR? You can only have it displayed as secondary pane that follows your search text.

In regards to original language studies it would be nice if you could across LXX and GNT (or the like). 

If this is not possible, I would like to suggest it as a future feature.

Morten, this comes up quite a bit. See a very recent discussion here. In that linked discussion, Helen noted that it was a reasonable request; so perhaps one day if some of the challenges can be worked around, something like this might be possible.

 

In the meantime, note that you can search both the LXX and Greek NT with a custom Research group or linked tabs (let me know if you need help with either of those). Also, we sell a Greek Bible that contains the LXX and Greek NT for searching across both testaments in Greek at the same time.

Morten, it doesn't exactly keep it all on the same pane as a combined resource, but you could put your preferred resources (Greek) into a user group.  That way you can limit your search to only that group.
