Larry Wing
I'm embarrassed to say I recently (like in the last year or two) a resource that focused a summary and over-view of each book in the Bible. Now I can't remember its title and going through my account nothing rings a bell. It may have included more than summaries but I thought that was its focus. Any ideas what it may have been? Or do you have any suggestions? I've looked at my various commentaries but as I recall this had a little more background information.

Larry Wing
Thank you for your suggestions. I think I found what I'd seen. It's the IVP OT (and NT) Background Commentary.
