Syntax searches for Greek conditional sentences

Hi all,

Perhaps this has been asked before, but I was unable to track it down. Is it possible to search for the various conditional sentences that in the American way are known as first, second, third and fourth conditional sentences (http://www.chioulaoshi.org/BG/Paradigms/conditional.html) and in the German way are known as eventualis, irrealis, potentialis, realis?

This would be a scoop.

I don't know how to do this. But, I'd also love to see someone show how to do this.

Thanks Daniel,

It does seem to work. I am not sure, if catches all instances, but at least the attached search find second class/unreal conditional sentences.

Btw: What does "depth" signify? It seems to be a new feature.

Hey Morten

depth indicates the number of elements below the current one to look for elements. So a depth of two on a phrase would search as far as two levels down in the syntax tree for the elements you've put in that part of the syntax search. Have a look at http://www.accordancefiles1.com/products/BriefUserGuideHebrewSyntaxDatabase_2016.pdffor terminology. The examples are all Hebrew but the principles are general.

You can upload an image by clicking on the More Reply Options (just outside the bottom right corner of the reply window) and using the Browse and Attach This File buttons. Certain file types are not allowed, but JPEG and PNG work fine.

Thx

D
